In Primary school, education from Balvatika to 8th standard is provided with the help of Braille Script with writing and reading skills.
To develop the imagination of the students, education is imparted using various methods such as leaves, beans, flowers, trees, various surfaces such as rough, smooth, high and low etc. are imparted to the students through touch. In addition to education, students are taught indoor games in Children Park such as chess, cards, puzzles,carrom and outdoor games like cricket, kabaddi, Hiccups in a specially designed children's park to expand their brain power in an open environment.
Sadbhav Secondary & Higher Secondary School
In Secondary & Higher Secondary School from 9th to 12th standard, education is provided under Gujarat Board of education in approved Secondary and higher Secondary School. We are happy to inform that since last 25 years the result of 10th standard remains 100%. The class 12th standard had started since June 2012 and its result is also 100% till date. This school has won the second-best school award in the state in the year 2016, out of 11,000 Normal schools. In addition to this remarkable achievement the school has also achieved the president’s award in the year 1986. The school has gained much fame due to all these achievements.
Hostel
The visually impaired children both boys and girls above 5 years, who can do their own routine work, are admitted in the school and hostel. These children come from distant rural areas of different districts of Gujarat. Free arrangements like boarding and lodging, Uniform, Medical Assistance, Braille Books, Educational Devices are made for these children in boy’s hostel and girl’s hostel of the organisation without looking at their caste and creed as per their age group. Children house-1, Children house -2, Kumar Hostel-1, Kumar Hostel-2 and girls hostel.
The Social Justice and Empowerment Division, Department of Social Defence, Gujarat State has approved the strength of 100 children including 75 boys and 25 girls for the admission in the school.
Years ago, the Social Security Department had set a ceiling of 75 Boys + 25 Girls students for admission. Against this, more than 150 students (Boys & Girls) are admitted every year.
Dining Hall
Blind students living in the hostel are served breakfast, lunch and dinner in the school dining hall.
Computer training Centre for the visually Handicaps
Students studying at the school are regularly provided with training in computer software and hardware.
Music training courses
Visually impaired children are also given training in classical music both vocal as well instrumental in Kanan Sangit Kala kendra & Music Performing art Academy. They are also intensively trained in various instruments so that they can become self-dependent. The Visharad degree in music is considered as the graduate degree in music. The HSC passed children with Visharad degree can easily become music teacher in any school. From last many years many visually impaired children have obtained Visharad degree from our organisation.
Nishtha Home Science Centre
Visually challange daughter compelets only education, that is not sufficient. She should also be ready to live a happy and successful family life. With this purpose “Nishtha Home Centre” was started in 2015 in the memory of Late Smt. Kokilaben Surendrabhai Shah.
The main donor of the center is late. Nilaben L. Sonani The loss incurred in the center due to the demise of Nilaben on 20-04-2021 is irreparable. Yet a very good training is being imparted to the blind girls studying in the school by the team prepared under her guidance. Besides cooking, girls are also learning training in home decoration so that they can maintain easily both kitchen and house. To improve their self confidence receipe compitition is arranged time to time at district and state level. One of the girl was successful in the preparation of best tasty dishes.

Training and Production Centre
In which the clairvoyant students are given training in incense sticks, candles, paper bags, different types of key chains, home decoration items, decorated garlands, etc., by showing the creation of objects by touch, through a unique method. Every Year Rakhis with innovative designs from various materials prepared by blind students become hugely popular among the local public. Apart from this, a local exhibition of various home decoration items manufactured at the center was displayed at the Lok Mela. More and more citizens of the city are joining hands to support the rehabilitation of blind students using the products produced by them.
LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation Computerize Braille Press
LIC Golden Jubillee Foundation Brail Press is meant for the printing of brail literature, various religeous books,circulars, and iimportant related reference literature and changed subject sallybus at the earliest.Two printing machines and six computers are made available for the purpose. The press has the capacity to print 300 brail pages per hour. Special staff has been hired by the school for the purpose.
Every year sets of text books, examination papers, circulars etc approx more than 250 (Braille Book Volume) books are coverted into brail books.
Skill Development Centre
Various type of seminars are organized in Skill Development Centre to develop the skill of students.
Braille Library: Novels, short stories, plays and informative books are delivered with the help of India Post Department to visually challenged readers living across the state.
Audio Books: Recording Studio has been established for preparing audio books for the children.
